Error code 1000008e

Hello all

Quite frequently ( at one time this happened 5 timed in 20 mins) my PC freezes. This especially happens during gaming- both online and non-online.

I have looked in the the event viewer and the following error code was logged at the times of the crashes (same code every time)

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 804d9033, parameter3 b9394c38, parameter4 00000000

previously, from the microsoft site, it suggested i did a RAM test. I did this and left it running for an hour and it did not find any errors

Bit of a long shot, as i know it could prob be a multitude of things, but any suggestions would be most appreciated

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn’t catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues (which sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

If that doesn`t help. Zip 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps together, and attach them here.
