Error everytime i open IE

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help. I have tried a lot of things such as running ad aware, disabling 3rd party extensions, running avg and norton virus scan, but none of them seem to work. I hope you can help. Heres the problem:Every time i open up internet explorer, I get the following message:

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. It happens every single time, and the only way i can get on the internet is by opening up a folder and typing a website into the address bar. I also ran hijack this... I will reply to this message and give you the log

Close IE.

Browse to the following location:

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

Delete: index.dat

Re-open IE.

If that doesnt work;

Download Internet Explorer 6 SP1 to the root of your C drive:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&DisplayLang=en

Once the file (480KB) is download - Close IE

Go to Start, Run and type;

c:\ie6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d:1 /s:""#E"

The IE setup will launch.

You run it this way - because you dont want to have IE open whilst it's installing...

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

Post a fresh HJT log as an attachment into this thread, only after doing the above.
