Recently my Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop with Windows XP Home 2002 Service Pack 2 recovered from a serious error.
Now it boots to blue screens and shuts down, I can barely keep windows booted for very long (if at all).
It gave the following error message:
BCCode: 10000050
BCP1: E1FFD4C8
BCP2: 00000000
BCP3: BF8048DA
BCP4: 000000001
OSVer: 5_1_2600
SP: 2_0
Product: 768_1
Is there anyplace to go to decode this and figure out what is wrong? Is it a driver issue, a software issue, or a hardware issue?
The only thing I can think that changed recently was I upgraded IE to the new Mozilla wannabe version. Other than that I can't think of any new drivers or anything that I installed. Is this a quick fix or should I just try and get my hard drive reformatted?
Stuck in Blue Screen Land, help!
