Even Steve Wozniak supports the "Right to Repair" movement

This is a headline? Anyone that knows the Woz will remember that Apple was founded on the principle of an open technology, that's why the Apple, Apple ][, Apple GS all had lids so you could easily get into the thing. He always encouraged 2nd and 3rd party support. It was Jobs that insisted (starting with the Lisa) that it be closed architecture and it was on that bases that he pushed Woz out of the company.

My only surprise in all of this is that the Chinese never made a serious attempt to copy & sell (mass production) the Apple computer line, especially after they have stolen every other technology they could get their hands on!

This news about Steve Wozniak doesn't surprise me in the least, The few things I've heard about him or seen him in public, (Dancing with the Stars), he's always presented as a down to earth, affable, and likable kind of guy.

You know, the kind of guy Steve Jobs masqueraded as while he was in public, not the tyrant he was in private.

I always got the impression that Jobs was Wozniak's, "evil twin"..

I get a kick out of of Apple's TV ads. They barely mention the product name. It's just a bunch of sonic and visual triggers, engineered to let their customers, sheep, addicts, call them what you will, believe how hip, and tuned in to fit their "needs" they absolutely are.

My fondest hope is that one day they'll rename "Madison Avenue" for what it truly is, "the ministry of propaganda".

Don't believe me? here, have a look: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda_techniques
I especially "like" the latest crApple Candy Man commercials. Does anyone really buy things because of pandering commercials like that?

Waniak was the real technical genius behind Apple. Jobs was nothing more than a slick showman.
And a thief. Jobs outright admits he stole technology from Xerox PARC for crApple in this movie - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2104994/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1 Interesting movie if you get a chance to see it, if I do say so myself. It was made when Jobs was at Next and it is a rare instance of him showing some humility, IMO.

That's true but the problem is that they're pretty much ALL thieves so I used the term in relation to everyone else in that sector. It's like trying to compare politicians in that respect.
