I've browsed similar threads, but am intimidated by setting up the whole dump-reading environment.
This Athlon 1700 running WinXP saved the first dump at 4:27 am, and saved a couple dozen throughout the day. Auto Update is set to ask permission before installing, so I don't think that's the cause.
It runs fine in safe mode, so I don't suspect hardware. Memtest86 ran without errors for 20 minutes. CHKDSK showed no errors.
Does anyone have a clue for me?
