Failure to power on, Please help.

I have an Asus A7V133 mobo that fails to power on. With everything removed except the power supply, when pressing the power on switch, the power comes on for about a half a second (CPU fan spins), then stops. Power led on mobo is on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and would save my sanity.

Check that the "clear CMOS" jumper is in the boot position.

Thanks Jesse, but there is no CMOS jumper, just 2 solder points, which one shortens out when clearing the CMOS.
The mobo worked fine before.

I have two A7V133 mobos that fail to power up.
