im not sure exactly what happened .. but eveytime i boot up my computer it says "system fan failed".. im not sure what this really means because i can see the fan turning. I was told that i had 3 fans, but i can only see two..one on top of the processor and the other one in the power supply.

Im not sure what to do?? can someone help??

You have no other case fans (other than the one on your power supply)?

How about a chipset fan? These are usually much smaller than the CPU fan and are found SOMEWHERE on your motherboard (if you have one at all).

If you can post your motherboard make/model we can tell you if you have one or not.

What are your mainboard details?
The problem you're having is quite common with a couple of ASUS boards.
They've released a new BIOS for some of them to address the problem.

i found the problem , the main fan (the one on top of the processor) was dead, i changed it and it works fine now

thanks anyways tho
