Feedback on Acer 19" widescreen LCD ??

I found a nice looking 19" widescreen LCD monitor today. Acer AL1916W for $399 CDN. Can anyone using this monitor post some feedback so I can make an assessment from their gaming experiences?? It's 8ms refresh, so it sounded good for gaming, just I have no experience at all with anything beyond an almost flat screen CRT. Thanks to all who help out.

Just be warned that a very small amount of games support widescreen resolutions.

The 2 games I play most often are GT Legends (which I've heard does support wide screen) and Call of duty 2. Unsure of that one. The same store has a CMV 19" as well.....about $100 difference if I recall, might be less. Made by LG the guy said.....I've never used LCD so know nothing of what brand or model to avoid. This is kind of a case of either/or right now....so looking down the road, leaning toward the widescreen.....but duly noted just the same thank you.
