FFVIII(PC) Crashing

When I reach the part where Squall and Rinoa gets off from the Ragnarok, after Rinoa was named a sorceress, the game crashes to the desktop. What should I do?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Visit the game manufacturers website and see if this is a known issue. Also, check for any updates, patches etc.

Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Check that your system meets the games system requirements.

That kind of thing is usually a known issue. What are your system specs and what does the game require?

Woah, that was fast. Anyways, my specs are:

Pentium 4 2.40GHz 128MB RAM As for the video card. I don't know. I think it's onboard the motherboard.

And FFVIII's specs are:
Computer: Must be Intel or 100% Intel compatible.

CPU: With 3D Accelerator: Pentium 200MHz or equivalent
(Pentium II 266MHz is recommended).
Without 3D Accelerator (i.e. software rendering):
Pentium II 266MHz.

Video Card: 8MB Direct3D-compatible 3D accelerator for 3D hardware
accelerator. 4MB SVGA Video Card for software
rendering.

Sound Card: DirectMusic and DirectSound compatible sound card.

CD-ROM: 8X CD-ROM

Memory: 32MB of RAM (64MB is recommended)

DirectX: Microsoft DirectX 6.1

HDD Space: 300MB
