Hey, i'm having a problem because I want to start a server in counter-strike, but first I need to disable my firewall that my router has does any one know how I can do this?

I have a wireless Belkin G router
Model: F5D7230-4
ver: 4001

You can set your computer to be in the DMZ zone - this will effectively disable the inherent firewallness of your router.

A more sensible solution would be to just forward the needed ports in the router config instead of exposing your computer to the world.

the maker should have info on opening up special ports
and your counter strike may be configurable as to what ports it will use
you will need port forward enable and assign numbers
use numbers above 7000 as some isp's limit or block because of P2P traffic and security
also look up port triggering
