Flashing like a snapshot

Sometimes when I'm on my wives' computer or one of the computers at the Church I attend, after Windows loads to desktop both pc's sometimes flash as if a snapshot of my system is being taken from some kinda of spyware program. Has anyone experienced this flashing before? And, if so, what is this? Any answers will be helpful.

Uhm.. The "flash" is a movie effect and does not apply to real life

Of course, it can be a sign of remote control software driver loading or suchlike..
