Floppy drive with paralell cable

hi everyone,
i have a compaq floppy drive with a paralell cable (printer cable). i'm trying to install it on an ibm thinkpad-r50. can someone tell me what i need to get this to work off of the paralell port (printer port) of the thinkpad?

Drivers are what you need. I assume you are talking Windows here..
