Forgot password on XP, lost disc to reload...stuck!!

I am unable to have my computer even finish loading. When I enter what we thought was the new password we find that we are entering the wrong password. Is there any way to change or reset the password? Can I do anything in BIOS that would help me bypass the password issue? Thanks!

Go into safe mode as administrator and go to user accounts & remove the password. then reboot in normal mode & set a desired password. Make sure this time u write down password.

here r the instructions to go into safe mode:

1. restart PC
2. press F8 several times until a black & white screen appears
3. When the black & white screen appears high light Safe mode & press enter
4. Once ur in safe mode u will get a message telling u that ur in safe mode & certain
drivers weren't loaded,after reading the message click ok
