Forum upgrade

Some of you probably noticed a short period of downtime this afternoon while the forums were being upgraded to latest version, 2.2.7. Nothing big changed other than a few bug fixes, vb3 is coming soon though and we will be upgrading right away for sure

Some more site related news within the next month, will keep you updated.

Does this have anything to do with The New TechSpot?

for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, well, Julio showed us IRC regulars a new site layout for TS...

Yup... absolutely , we are finally moving with that backend, should be up and running by next week (part of it already is) and then it'll be a matter of porting the whole content to the database... a pretty painful process, indeed :blackeye:
