Frustrated with clock speed.

i have an asus A7V8X-X, ive been trying to set the CPU speed. at the moment it is locked at 800Mhz and it will not let me change it untill i set it to "jumper free" mode. ive even looked at the user guide for my MB and it just tells me that jumperfree exits, not how to do it. can anybody tell me how i can do this?

You're not going to get much speed out of an overclock. It might be time to upgrade your whole pc.

the processor i have in the PC currently is a 1.6Ghz but the BIOS has it locked at 800Mhz

I have deleted your other thread on this subject. Please don`t open any more threads for this.

What cpu do you have? We need the exact model please.

If you are in JumperFree mode then you will be able to adjust the first four settings in bios. JumperFree mode simply means you can do all of your tweaking and adjustments from the bios instead of using jumpers on the motherboard. If you have a locked CPU, then you won`t be able to use jumperfree mode.
