I Have Just Built A Great Gaming Computer As Of Now I Have A 19" Crt Monitor. Ihave Been Reading Post After Post Trying To Decide On A Large Monitor Or Lcdtv To Connect To The New Gaming Machine. I Have Two 7800 Gtx Oc In Sli Format. What Will Give Me Better Quality At High Resolutions Lcdtv Or The More Expensive Large Computer Monitors? Im Looking To Buy One Of These In The Size Range Of 34" Upto 45". I Do Watch A Lot Of Dvd Movies Thru The Computer And Some Tv. Would The Quality Be Better On A 37" Lcd Monitor (with A Tv Turner On The Computer) Or A Hdtv Lcd? All Information On This Subject Would Be Grateful.

how much u want to spend?

1920X1080 is gonna be your max resolution on a TV in 16x9

Most LCD TVs that can double as monitors and not just a TV-out DVI have lower resolutions than 1080P.

LCD monitors like the dell 2405FPW run at 1920x1200 in 6:10, which IMHO is much better for general computer work and gaming and also lets you play 1080P HD video.

Also, LCD monitors tend to have better response time which crucial for gaming.
