Gateway MT6705 Keyboard Problem

Recently, I purchased a Gateway MT6705 laptop. Everything runs nicely, and I'm adjusting to Vista. I don't do serious gaming, but I do play games every so often. The problem is that my keys kind of "lock" during gameplay. For example if I am holding down the right arrow and hit the "X" key for an action, the action won't happen. I'll just keep going right. However, if I let go of the right arrow, then hit "x" the action occurs. So it's kinda like I can't hit two buttons at one time. Are there any solutions or suggestions out there? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
