getting rid of elitemedia group in my system XPHOME

elitemediagroup keeps opening my browser and wanting to connect to its home base.Ihave tried to get it out of my system XPHome without any luck.Can anyone help an old pensioner,not to computer savvy, to get rid of it.If so would be most appreciated. Many Thanks Ian.

disable system restore
boot in safe mode
run your anti-virus and several anti-trojans:

spybot, ad-aware, and ewido (with all updates)

post back with a HJT log and anti-virus reports
if clean, turn on system restore and reboot.
