So this new case I have is giving me issues atm. the psu is all the way at the bottom of it, and I'm reading that a good psu can effect how well you overclock your processor. So I'm lookin for a psu that's decently quiet with modular cords, gonna need some long cords I think

I don't know if they're still around but, Enermax Noisetakers were incredibly reliable and quiet PSUs, some of the best overall PSUs I've ever seen. If you can find one of those, it would be a great one to buy.

If you want a good sli PSU that's qiuet I recomend this:

although it does lack modular cables (most good PSUs arn't modular since modular cables add an aditional point of failure). It does have a 49A single 12V rail to give you plenty of power for two 7950GTs

If you must have modular cables I recomend this:

the 500w liberty has 32A combined on the 12v rails and the 620w has 36A both of which would be pushed hard to run two 7950GTs (the 500w may not run at all and the 620 may strugle).
