i'm not sure if the blue screen is connected to the problems i've been having with windows explorer and the the ram so any thoughts? i got realy confused by that other page is there anything simpler or could somone just tellme how to do it step by step? thanks!

nevermind guys i decided i didn't want to wait to fix it so i said f it and did a system restore, the prob seems to be fixed now.

It may have been spyware. I advise my customers to use 3 anti-spyware utils. Here are the ones I recommend:

  • Ad-Aware 2007
  • Spybot Search & Destroy
  • AVG Anti-Spyware

All are free and can be downloaded via the Internet.
