I just hooked up the new rig and it wont turn on. When i plug it into the wall a red light on my mobo turns on. When i hit the power the mobo wont turn on. Driving me nuts i dont know if i didnt hooks drivers up correctly or if something is broken...
I did a lot of fixes just now, i got the whole cpu to turn on and all the components are hooked up correctly. However i do not have a floppy drive and during the boot the mobo gets stuck on POSTCODE 6F which is 1. Initialize Floppy controller then 2. Auto assign ports to onboard COM ports if the corresponding item in setup is set to Auto. I do not have a floppy drive on my computer so how do i get it to skip this step i resetted the cmos and booted but it just gets stuck on this postcode. Any help?
