Great games that don't need great hardware to run

Yeah I missed it again; I really need my beauty sleep. :p

And yeah, Driver's a great title. Any of the games, upto Driver: Parallel Lines, should work on those specs too, IMHO. Adding 'em to the list now.

Another game you might want to add is League of legends. Its free to play to a point. The origins of its game type stems from a popular warcraft 3 custom game called dota. Heroes of newerth is the same game type but I don't think its free, neither one have high requirements.

One game i got alot of pleasure out of a few years ago (when i had a kinda rubbish PC) was a game called Street Racing Syndicate (or SRS for short)...It was Midnight clubish, but it had some really good side mission stuff, and the car modding was more detailed.

It's Wiki page.

Heh there is a very old game from 1995 called fury 3 in which you fly around and blow stuff up, not sure if its graphics are worthy though ^^.

No Portal? Also The Sims 2 is a very good game if you just want to mess around and make batman fall in love with spiderman... hey, we've all done it :p

Make sure you have a lot of space though for all those expansion packs you'll say you won't get but then get them anyway...

Tremulous

Hey! Tremulous is also a great game that doesn't require that much.

Heck even people with a RAM of 512MB or 256MB can run Tremulous smoothly. Also, people with a processor of 700MHz can run it!

It's an Online Alien Multi-Player FPS game that can be downloaded here

Here's a picture

P.S.
If you guys were ever wondering where Onimusha2 is, it's only for the PS2.

I can add Onimusha: Demon's Siege since, to the best of my knowledge, the first game is restricted in availability to some parts of the world.

Also: Terraria!

My new addiction and seems to have some moderate spec requirements:

That it is; I'll add it along with some other indie faves of mine like Braid and World of Goo. Thanks. :)

EDIT: Ok I'm going to put any games that I find that are untested in red on the list. Please read the addendum at the end of the list and try to help me out if you can. Thanks again to all the contributors! :D
