Guestbook getting spammed - please help

Hi I'm new here so be gentle with me !! I used Frontpage to build a website, I know experts think FP is rubbish but it was quite easy to use for a novice. Problem is our guestbook is getting spammed with links to unsuitable sites. Is there a way I can block this? I cant even access the guestbook log to remove them. If someone could expain how to do even this it would help me so much.

this is 'non trivial' when you allow anything to be posted.

your CGI program can filter the textual data for unaccepable words and if
found, disallow the post.

filtering graphics is a big task ... usually less than perfect and ... expensive
the easy solution here is to disallow user graphics and, if really necessary,
allow a selection of graphics from uploads by you
