Halo Pc Problem

Ok so when im installing halo combat evolved for my p.c it gets to 88% and stops at ending.bik then i get a message saying your hard drive is full (when its not plus i uninstalled alot of games that took up alot of space) then it says or the file is being used..... so how can i fix this.... by the way my computer was having some problems so game files got messed up like oblivion and halo

Do a virus scan, some virusses (viri?) can take up a lot of space by spamming. Maybe the filesystem's become corrupt. There are a lot of potential reasons for the problem. Maybe there's a problem with the Halo CD (like a scratch or smthg).
