Hard Drive Speed Questions

Is there a significant speed difference between a 10000rpm and 7200rpm hard drive for games? Also, can I run a 10000rpm with a 7200rpm without a performance drop in the 10000rpm?

Performance increase...yes. Worth the cash? Id say no. (but icant really seem to find a benchmark any where)

It really depends on what you put onto each. Since 10k drives have a size limataion, i would say your OS and main games should go on to that. the 7200 drive should take the grunt files. (pics video non game programs) IMO THis would be the best layout to keep performance up.
