Headset Broke :(

Hi,
I purchases a Platronic Gamcom 1 about a year and a half ago and just the other day the mic stopped working. Since it is past warrenty i opened it to take a look. The part where the mic swivils, the wire was completely worn away. I am looking to purchase a new headset and im looking for reccomendations. I will be using it for gaming and music mostly so good mic quality is needed.
Any Idea's ?

I have the same headset and I absolutely love it. I would go with another Plantronics headset if I were you. Im not sure what the problem with that was is, or how the wiring got worn away like you stated. But Plantronics to me, are the best you can get as far as headsets.

Ill admit it was treated kinda rough from the start so it was the moving of the mic in and out which caused the ware. I think i will buy another and take care of it more.
If you dont mind me asking, how long have you had your's without any problems ?
