  1. I'll try this again. The cat decided to help me type.
My first attempt at posting this has vanished, just like that damm cat did.
Been lurking here for quite a while, delurk is now enabled. I'm not a newbie, nor am I an uber-geek. I've always enjoyed passing on the bits and pieces of knowledge I find under the couch cushions of my mind. And I know quite a few of them originated here. I'm pretty much self taught on the hardware side of things. Trying to take a few programing courses when I can squeeze in the time.
I've been building and giving away FrankenSystems for a while. You can learn a lot cobbling together old hardware. 49 complete systems in the last two years. And they are all still running with the exception of one Dell P2 box.

Here's the specs on my widows test box. I've made magic smoke come out of it a couple of times. :) I've owned it for about 3 years. About the only parts left from the origanal version are the floppy and the system speaker.

    Hi rowdy, welcome to TechSpot.

I've got to add, after looking at your specs, you certainly have a large assortment of hard drives on that computer.
