Help biig problem

Hard drive does not power on

I copied all my data that io needed yesterday to an 80 gig hard drive so i could reformat my computer and once that was done i plugged boooted it up for teh 1st time and started to copy the information over but had to cancel it for some reason i cant remember what at the moment lol.

But now the 80 hard drive isnt even powering on! i have swapped the powewr cable with the other ones from the PSU and i know one of them is definatly working because it was powering my 160gig one

I need to get my information of this harddrive its has everything i have done on it for the last 3 years!!!

Does it power on when you remove the other drive and/or any CDs? Maybe you just have a weak PSU?

it worked wen i copied the stuff over and it worked plugged into the hard drive and the cd player. I put the knakered one into the computer i took it out of and it still isnt working the hard drive just wont power up
