Help! Can't boot from CD

I seem to not be able to boot from my CD-ROM drive for some reason. Whenever I have a bootable CD in the drive, and am prompted to press any key to boot from CD, nothing happens and it continues to load Windows. I have the CD-ROM set as the first boot device in the boot sequence.

Any ideas or help anyone could lend would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like a Windows install disc. If you see this prompt, the booting has already happened. That means your computer can boot from the CD just fine... The problem is with the disc, most likely. Try a different copy and see if you have the same results.

If you want to test whether or not your system is having problems booting from a CD, try another bootable program such as www.memtest.org or www.knopper.net
