Help installing Diamond S60 PCI video card.

I have a Dell 600 mHz Pentium III w/ Windows 98 machine and the video card was shot. I bought the Diamond S60 Stealth PCI video card and tried to install it. I followed the instructions about removing the old driver and changing the CMOS setting to PCI from AGP. I installed the new drivers from the provided CD and at the end it said it was complete and that I needed to reboot. I rebooted the machine but the machine locks up after starting Windows. I have started it in safe mode and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers several times. I even went to Diamond's web site and downloaded the driver from there but nothing seems to work. Anybody have any suggestions?

NVIDIA TNT2 M64 4xAGP?

It is a NVIDIA TNT2 M64 4xAGP is the name listed in the System Properties - Display adapter setting. I know the old was AGP and the new one is PCI but I changed all the settings, I think.
