Help! No sound after tweaking

Hello! Hope someone can give me a quick fix??!! Last night I used the TechSpot Windows Xp Services Tweak guide and went through the startup system. Now I don't have any sound on audio for the computer. I still am able to listen on windows media player though?? Any ideas?? Thank you very much!!

Hi kindheartdeb and welcome to Techspot

I'm not sure what you did to "kill" your sound, but if you need a quick fix, then system restore should fix it for ya (although this will also un-do your other system tweaks as well). choose the last restore point before you "tweaked" it.

Thanks for the quick reply....and is a good one,except....looks like the system restore was off!! I turned it on now......anymore ideas??
