I'm having a smilar problem as my last post but this time the customer was using McAfee. He got hit by spyware and can't connect to the server. I uninstalled McAfee and setup his router again. His other computer can connect just fine but not his first one. It reports thatb it can connect to the router and the Internet Connection icon appears but there's not connection to the DNS server. Same for his remote desktop connection, it fails immediately.
I've run 3 anti-spy (Ad-Aware 2007, Spybot S&D, AVG AS) and an XP repair installation. I think his network profile is corrupted. How do I fix this?
