Help with adware/spyware

Hello,

I am a newbie here and have finally given up trying to eradicate this problem myself. It started with an involuntary dl of Unspypc (I was out of town, had a housesitter, and when I returned it was there). I was able to get rid of it, but have apparently missed something. When I search on Google and click on one of the search result links, I get redirected to a variety of websites, most appearing to be other search engines. My HJ This log file is attached. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Eric i guess the best thing to let you know is its nothing serious

ok if you follow these steps all will be fine

i need you to install this antivirus and uninstall norton beacuse it doesnt work
your current problem is evidence as such !!!

also uninstall zone alarm and install these instead they will fix it all up !!!

first avast antivirus http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1

second adaware se http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1

Thanks! I have already ran Adaware SE and it has not helped. My Norton expires next summer and I was planning on dumping it. Before I make any antivirus changes, do you know if Avast will eradicate this problem? And last, did you see anything in the HJ log? I sure didnt.

ah nope

i didnt see any thing in the highjack this file

try this create a new user acoount call it what ever log into that account use internet explorer tell me if it does the same thier ok

if it doesnt copy all of your files ie my documents

to the new profiles my docs

get the idea :)
