help with crazy computer!

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone could help me with my computer that is currently out of order! firstly,my homepage has disaspeared and a security tool page is offering its services. Secondly i have a pop sound and a bubble that appears at the bottom right side of teh screen saying that my compu's infected and shoes a yellow triangle with an exlamation mark, and thirdly porn pages keep popping on my screen. i have scanned with avg free edition and norton has caught a couple of trojan however i can't seem to get rid of this completely.
can anyone help me?
PS Im kind of not very smart when it comes to computers....

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with some kind of virus/spyware.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

hello. i have just downloaded avast but it said that it may conflict with my other antivirus'. Well, i hop that it works. otherwise is there another once that wont conflict with mine?

If you read the instructions properly, they state quite clearly, that you shouldn`t install any antivirus/firewall software if you already have some.

No, don`t uninstall your antivirus programme. Just follow the instructions. It`s not difficult if you take your time. Your bug will get sorted out when you have finished with the instructions.

thanks for your help howard, but it hasnt worked...
i rather not mess with it too much ill just switch the computer off until i can take it to the sony shop.

Why not post your HJT log and an AVG Antispyware log as requested?

I`ll then be able to help you further.

If you take it to a shop, all they`ll do is reformat the hard drive and you`ll lose all your data.

hi howard, thanks again for your reply but it is all chinese to me. i can save all my important data to CD and ill get someone to fix it as i am a potential danger to my computer!!! haha.
