Help somebody!
I have an NEC DVD RW ND 3520A. I wanted to flash the drive in order to beable to change the region code. I was tired, it was three in the morning and I was behaving erratically. I downloaded from forum.rpc1.org the wrong flash, the 3.40 Freecom OEM, which should only be used with Real DOS. I used it with windows xp. Now the drive is showing Freecom -/+ RW 1686, not NEC DVD-RW ND 3520A as previously. The correct flash does not recognise he drive any longer, and the new drive is behaving incorrectly, and only burning at 4x speed at the best, far slower than before.
Does anyone know how I can correct my mistakes? If so, please, any help would be useful.
