Help with graphics failure

Hey, I just recently bought a Radeon X1300 Pro. I got it in the mail today, plugged it into my AGP and when I booted the comp all I got was blue and white stripes running vertically down my screen. Anybody have any ideas on what the problem is? All help is appreciated, thanks.

did you first run the software disc, and disable the other video chip you had prior? that might be causing some problems.

and if that isn't the cause, it might simply be DOA. dead on arrival. you can send it back and get a new one and see if you get different results.
