Help with MSN Messenger 7

hi... anyone here can help me?? it is about the MSN Messenger 7. last nite i got a message from my friend.... it was something like this:
1st massage: calol look at this
2dn message: **** heheh... sorry i forgot... but it was somethink like a link with my MSN Messenger ID....
it seemd like ivitation to see a picture... i was not sure it is virus or not but i accidently clicked it and my friend in my list got these message from me too... so what is it >>?? how to fix it?? **** i got it from friends in France*****

It's not impossible it could have been some kind of messenger spam.

There are viruses going through IMs too these days.

Without seeing exact messages, or what was contained in the "link", as in, the URL, it would be hard to tell.

Don't know much about Messenger, I use Trillian.

Sounds like your puter may have been highjacked.

Go HERE and follow the instructions carefully. Print them out if you can.

Once you have done that go HERE for instructions on how to post your Hijackthis log.
