Hi i found an old video card with tv out(diamond viper v550 and i connected it to my tv via s video. The problem occurs not when it boots, i see bios information displayed on the tv, but when it loads windows xp - there is nothing but a blue screen.(it works fine on my monitor)
the refresh rate has been lowered to 60 hz, and i tried using "tvtool" - and it said it was unable to detect a tv chip on my card (maybe because of its age).
My pc is a 600 mhz p3 with 256mb ram.
btw i have 2 vid cards in there the aforementioned 16mb tnt viper, and a tnt2 32mb (which i disabled).
Any help will be appreciated.
p.s. is it a must to keep the resolution at 640 * 480?
