i am not not sure if anyone will know or have any of this but it is worth a shot.

i told my friend that i can trace mobile phones and now he wants to me do it. i cant say that i dont know how to. but all i need is something that looks like it is tracing a phone. if you have any programs or know any sites that will help me please tell me.

You mean trace as in location?

Not possible, unless you live in an area where transmitters are particularly close to each other. Even then it's not very accurate. It's an estimate based on signal strength between two or more mobile phone transmitters.

There are services, that once registered, a mobile cellphone can be trcked with. If it's really nessecary, the emergency services can locate a rough area by a mobile signal strength.

For you and me though, it's a case of not telling fibs about what we can and can't do AFAIK (not that I could possibly know why anybody would want to claim such a thing).
This however is probably more of a meeting spot thread, or at a push, software and utilities.
