Hex POST code

Ok, so a week or so ago I posted a thread about my computer failing to POST. I have since bought a new CPU and motherboard and upon putting it all back together, I can now POST.

Trouble is, it doesn't get much further than that. The new motherboard I got has a display which shows a hex code for it's POST status. When my PC posts now I get 2 beeps, a handful of different hex codes then the PC shuts itself down. Before it shuts down I can hear the HDD's spinning etc, the fans are going from the start.

I've looked at the beep code list in the stickeys and at the hex code list on Abit's site (not perticually helpful) and i'm still lost. Some of the codes I Get:

When the power is on at the back but the PC is off: .3 (briefly) then 0.2.
When I turn the power on: 8.3. Also briefly 9.C.
When the power shuts off: 9.F.

I couldn't find the corrosponding meaning for any of these.

Anyone have any links/information on what this means for my PC?

try unplugging harddrives, cd rom drives, floppy drives, pci cards, agp cards. And then see if it works. Also the memory maybe flaulty, try using different memory. There are a lot sof thing that could be faulty here.
