hey, can some one check for me if this is compatible? Im a noob at building computers, but i find computers i buy are too expensive...

Looks like you made a good selection, i would upgrade and get a good power supply, antec TRUPOWER2 430watt. That would be good. And maybe some namebrand ram, if you are not buying some, some hyper X from kingston, gskill, corsair, or OCZ.

Yes that PC should work, but I have a question:

I'm building a PC for a friend soon, and I need to know if I can take a mobo that supports the 1000 MHz FSB, and put it with a compatible processor with 2000 MHz FSB, will hte combo work? thx
 
I'm sure it would, but for my question, will it work with about any processor with the right socket type?
 
i changed the case to "Power Up Black 2559 ATX Mid-Tower case with Front USB and Audio Ports and 250mm Side Fan"
Is it good?
