Hey guys - question about system

im building a new computer, but when i try to see if i can just start up to the bios screen nothing happens, im using asus P4S800 MotherBoard, p4 2.8 processor, and a stick of 512 mb ddr400 pc 3200 viking ram.. with a 350 PS.... When i try to turn it on, the green light on the asus board lights up, but no fans turn on... (cpu fan or the case fan) any ideas as to what im doing wrong? oh i have ati radeon pro 128 video card.. any ideas?

could it be in sleep mode or soft off mode? if so how can i put it on "ON" mode?

i think i may have something, i just hooked everything up to the case and i got the fans to turn on... just curious as to why it didnt want to turn on without setting all the connections in the MB... maybe cause it was grounded? i dont know... im gonna see if it will load to the bios screen before i get any further....

back... got to the bios... no problems now with the machine not turning on... now gotta install the drives and all the good stuff...
