High Pitched Whine & Continuity Problem

I have a A7N8X-X Asus Board, using a 400W ThermalTake PSU, I get power through the LED on the bottom of the board, but when the light goes out whenever I bump the cables for the 2-pin LED and it goes out I get a high pitched whine that goes off, kinda like a dog whistle going off high. Another problem is the Power Switch on the mobo when I used it doesnt activate the board, and I tested the screwdriver test by touching the tops of the two pwr_sw prongs and my computer didnt start.
The power supply is giving power, and used the standard testing methods for the PSU and it was fine, so what in the world is going on?

Hi, and welcome to techspot. Have you hooked up the cables from your case to the proper slots on the motherboard?
