I was wondering my friend had a problem some viruses on his computer, I user kaspersky antivirus and windows defender to get rid of them. I used HJT to scan his system and it looked clean. I was wondering if someone with experience in analysing the HJT logs can look at let me know if it is clean.

thanks

That HJT log is clean.

Have HJT fix these file missing entries.

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sandboxie - {11E506DC-0976-4CDA-BB30-37E60A2F2F46} - C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\SandboxieToolbar.dll (file missing) (HKCU)

Once you`ve done that, reboot the computer and rename HijackThis.exe to HijackThis1991.exe. Run a new HJT scan and see if anything different shows up in the HJT log. If it does, feel free to post a fresh HJT log.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

Regards Howard :)
