HJT log - Anything fishy?

Status
Not open for further replies.
I have cleaned with search & destroy/ad-aware and scanned with mcaffee and panda.

My PC is acting strange like something's going on behind the scenes:

Mouse pointer turns into hour glass for 4-5 seconds at a time without I am doing anything.

Right click gets disabled/enabled randomly.

The pc is extremely slow to start up and shot down.

My log is attached

Regards
Mike

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Please rename HijackThis.exe to HijackThis1991.exe and post a fresh HJT log. This is because some malware can hide from HijackThis.exe.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Click start/run and type services.msc into the run box and press the enter key.

When the window appears, maximise it. Double click on the following services(if there) and select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

Mspin0rg

Close the services window.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

pcmgrnet.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

My pc is still acting strange.
I'm thinking that whenever the mouse pointer turns into a hour glass, it might be my panda virus software checking something out. I just started using panda. I'll try to uninstall later and see if it changes.
Another thing that have changed that I forgot to mention is that my numluck is off when I start my computer up. It have always been on. I have no clue why that all of a sudden would change.

Any way here's my log file. I did all you suggested (kept my ie homepage though)

Regards
Mike

Your HJT log is clean.

Check in your bios for the num lock status.

It may well be your Panda antivirus programme that`s using resources. Only way to tell is to uninstall Panda and see if your problem goes away.
