I've been having this problem since I upgraded from my 8500 (such a good card). Every time I enable TV-out, my TV has what looks like snowy horizontal scanlines that progress upwards.
This noise is really annoying, so I've been trying everything I can think of to get rid of them (note that I never saw them on my Radeon 9500 pro, but I did see them on my 9700pro and 9800pro)...
I'm using the latest drivers from ATi. I tried switching to older "powered by" drivers (since it's a Saphire card), and the lines seemed a little less prominent, but still clearly visible and just as annoying. I've restarted winXP sereral times with different settings and I've messed with the display properties any way I could, to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas?
