If your staying with AGP then I would suggest a beefier card because that card would be flimsy at best.

Whats your budget?

You would probably be better off with something like THIS card. You can also get a 7600GS for under $100, but you would need to let us know what kind of power supply you have (watts, amps on the 12+ volt line(s), and the brand).

Ultra isn't the greatest, but you do have good power output on your 12V line so if you wanted to spend the extra bucks you could go with the 7600GS.

Links: HERE or HERE are good ones.

Well im an ATI fanboy so I would go with the X1650, its a good card and for the cash it will be well worth it. You will see a considerable increase in performance.

Are you running a lot of your PSU though?

Ok after looking into some of the recomended cards i found a few others. It also looks like my pricerange will be $100. Some are 256mb some are 512, the Sapphires have a higher memory clock on both the 256 and 512 which will give the best performance of these? Any thoughts?

The X1650PRO is out of the list. It's not a very good bang-for-your-buck card at all. The 7600GT is the clear winner since it has the best price vs. performance ratio, beating all the other cards including the 7600GS. It's the best you can get and with the rebate, the price is just perfect. Get it and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I meant there is a definite difference in the cards' performance but he probably won't notice it unless he plays different games like FEAR and Quake IV for example, in which the performance difference will be visible. For games like WoW & UT2004, both will perform virtually the same without any apparent performance difference.

The main reason I asked about the difference between the 2 cards is that i can get them both for the same price. Zip Zoom Fly has the GS for $120 and the GT for $120 after rebate.

Thanks
