How can i get more disk space

hi guy

matthew19 here again with another porblem how can i get more disk space on my laptop i have now 18,598,813,696 bytes left which is eqivalent to 17.3 GB and i want to get it back in to just over 30 bytes. my actuall disk space is over 40 MB

do i have go get an upgrade or can i do something to get it back to where it is

Hi Matthew.

One of the easiest ways to create more disk space, is simply to uninstall anything you don`t use or require, from add remove programmes in your control panel.

Once you`ve finished uninstalling stuff, run a defrag.

Uninstall all unneeded programs, check for viruses and spyware, run a disk clean up, defragment. This should do nicely.

Back up any document/media files you don`t access very often,to DVD/CD.
Then delete them from the HD.

Reduce system restore space to 400MB or so.
