How do i know what my mother board can handle

ok i wanna know what my mobo can handle i have a mercury p4vm800m7 with a cellaron 3.20 gig (it sux )i want to know what it can handle im hopeing for like a Intel Pentium D 930 3.0GHz / 4MB Cache / 800MHz FSB / Dual-Core / Presler / OEM / Socket 775 / Processor but pleeze help me thank u

That info should be available from the mobo makers website. or from intels website once you find what chipset your mobo is based on.

Unfortunately, I don´t think it supports Pentium D CPU´s. The site says the mobo supports Pentium 4´s and Celeron D´s, but not Pentium D.

I would choose a Pentium 4 Cedar Mill CPU, not the Prescott CPU :hotbounce :hotbounce :hotbounce :hotouch:
