How do I more SATA ports on my motherboard?

Well, you also would have to install the PCI card driver that comes on the included CD.

I have a similar concern...

MB: p4p800 deluxe
Currently using both SATA ports.

Goal is to be able to connect more drives via SATA, both internally and externally (eSATA) ... (2 ext./2 int. would be nice)

1. Is it as simple as getting a PCI card with above said ports on it?
What's involved...what's to consider?

2. Since I'd be getting a new PCI card, could I just get one with SATA-II for higher speeds?

3. What would be the difference in speed, if any, between SATA through the PCI card and SATA directly on the MB? (I imagine it would get slowed down quite a bit through the PCI BUS, no?)

4. Should the PCI card also have a port for powering external drives?

5. Which particular card would be recommended...brand etc..? (links? )

All suggestions/opinions welcome.

Cheers!
